Bacteriostatic Water 3ml
Bacteriostatic Water — Sterile Diluent
For Laboratory Research Applications
Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic aqueous solution containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, supplied in sealed laboratory vials for multi-use reconstitution of lyophilised research materials.
The inclusion of benzyl alcohol acts as a bacteriostatic preservative, helping inhibit microbial growth following initial puncture when handled using proper aseptic laboratory technique. This allows the same vial to be used multiple times during controlled research procedures.
